Many thanks to Kevin for sharing his great knowledge of this topic (and fantastic slides!).
2) A couple of new Jobs have been posted: 1 in Christchurch, NZ and 1 in Victoria.
Head on over to the Jobs section: http://anzsrs.org.au/index.php/jobs
3) As part of the ATS/ERS spirometry update on technical standards for spirometry there is a patient survey circulating around the word.
It would be great to get some patient input from Australia and NZ. This is for patients having spirometry.
Patient opinions and experiences from this survey, along with the latest scientific and clinical evidence, will be used by a working group of healthcare professionals (working with the American Thoracic Society and European Respiratory Society) to agree on the best spirometry testing methods.
You can complete this survey online until 21 September, 2018 and it will take about 5–10 minutes to complete.
It is available in Dutch, English, French, German, Greek, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish. Just use the drop-down menu at the top right-hand side of the survey to pick your language.
Help us reach as many people as possible by sharing with anyone you that may be interested in contributing their experience.
Patients can take the survey here: https://www.surveymonkey.co.uk/r/spirometry_experience
Kind regards,
ANZSRS Webmasters
