The Alfred Respiratory Group are hosting an exercise symposium on Wednesday 11th December.
Invited speaker is Dr. David Systrom, Respiratory and Critical Care Physician from Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School.
David will be giving two presentations discussing dyspnoea, including CPET and invasive haemodynamic monitoring as well as "un-diagnosable" breathlessness.
Local speakers include:
Leona Dowman, Exercise Physiologist, presenting HIIT in ILD patients Dominic Keating, Respiratory & Sleep physician, discussing the impact of CF Modulators on exercise capacity
Shane Nanayakkara, Cardiologist presenting novel approaches to heart failure with preserved ejection fraction

The end of year branch meeting will also be hosted by Respiratory Lab team The Alfred on Friday 13th December, followed by dinner at The College Lawn.
The team are keeping up the suspense on presentations, but promise to deliver a interesting meeting!
