Hello Visitor,
Thanks to all who joined either face-to-face or virtually for our recent branch meeting held on Wednesday, August 30th. We had 16 guests in person and a further 9 guests online! A big thank you to our sponsors for the evening, Radiometer.
The guest speaker for the evening was Dr. Hervey Lau from Royal Brisbane and women’s hospital. Dr. Lau delivered a fascinating presentation titled “To infinity and Beyond: A Very Short Primer on the Lungs in Microgravity” . The scientist presentation for the evening was delivered by Jessica Stewart and Ewan Grobbelaar on behalf of Mackay Hospital. They presented on the intriguing topic of Irukandji Syndrome.
