CPRB Board ANZSRS Member
David Robiony-Rogers term on the Clinical Physiologists Registration Board is coming to an end; as such we are looking for nominations from the membership for someone to take his place. In synopsis, the expectation is that the member will jointly review:
- new applications for CPRB registration and APCs for Respiratory candidates:
- provide information around the expectations of competency for approval to receive an APC without conditions of practice (this is now in place, but may need to be reviewed in the future):
- attend Board meetings, now mainly by ZOOM teleconferencing, and the AGM:
- be part of the CPD review process for respiratory members (still to be setup):
- work with the CPRB to develop our application for regulation under the HPCA Act.
If there is more than one person interested then we will advise of the candidates in the agenda for the Branch Annual Meeting on 16th August and perform an online vote over the fortnight following this. If anyone is interested please let me know by the 9th August, if you need any further information you can contact either David or Kevin Ellyett (the other respiratory CPRB board member). I’d also like to thank David for the many years of hard work he has put into this role.
Branch Annual Meeting Agenda
As mentioned above we will have our annual meeting on the 16th August, during the joint TSANZ/ANZSRS conference. If anyone has any items they would like to be added to the agenda for discussion could these also be forwarded to me be by the 9th of August. The minutes from the 2018 meeting are attached for reference.
